Pros: -She's energetic
-Class was fun
Cons: -She is INCREDIBLY bias and picks favorites. We had a business professional presentation at the end of the term (had to wear a suit and all). The terms said it was a professional presentation. So were did ours very professionally, we provided the facts, shows graphs, charts, overall, not trying to say ours was the best, but I expected AT LEAST a B+ since we did all that was required and everyone presented confidently. What did she have to say about our presentation? That it wasn't "fun" enough and that we needed to "spice it up." Excuse me? I believe this was said to be a business professional presentation. I guess she doesn't have the attention span nor knowledge to understand and appreciate complex matters. And hear this, another group did their's VERY unprofessionally! They made jokes, had inapporpiate pictures (one picture showed their faces cut out and on pasted onto gravestones as a joke). And she LOVED IT. It really struck a nerve with our group because yeah there's was fun and funny. but "business professional" as the instructions said? No way in hell. She said to present this as if you were really presenting this to a company and there's would NOT have went well with a real company. She is unprofessional, uninformed, and uses her enthusiam as a guise to disguise the fact that she is pretty incompetent.
Skip her, take a real professor

Pros: Great professor with lots of insight on job opportunities, resume building and what hiring managers are looking for. She looks for quality and added a lot of value to my class of graduating seniors, most of which had full-time jobs by the end of the term
Cons: She challenges the class to do better and make their resumes and career plans more detailed and specific - which requires work and time, but I wouldn't have chosen any other Professor for this class - she knows her stuff and made this class a lot of fun!!

Pros: Really energetic (non-annoying way)
Explains concepts in depth
Very understanding
Fair tests
She is young and passionate about what she does. Somehow, keeps the entire class interested in boring things such as accounting, marketing, blah blah blah. Attendance IS mandatory but if you pay attention in class and ask questions, the tests should only require minimal studying. The tests are really fair and she tells you beforehand what will be on and it what to know. There is "Connect" homework which is this website that you have to go on and answer questions; the assignments are extremely simple and do not take anymore than 30 mins. I would definitely recommend her to other BUSN 101 students.

Pros: AMAZING business prof!! I am in her 101 business class and have her again next term for the 2nd part. The lectures are really interesting and she is always responsive and available for questions. My interest in business has gone up a lot since being in this class and it's a combo of how the material is taught and prof Babitt's ability to relate the material to college students and she was a LeBow student too. She's also not a professor full-time and shares a lot of business stories from working in the real world. You can tell she really cares about her students and really wants everyone to do good in the class. We have 3 exams and 3-4 projects. If you're not a lazy student and really want to learn something, take her class. I would retake her class anyday!
Cons: Like I said if you're lazy or don't want to put the time or work in then you may want to rethink your major. There's a lot of work and projects but it's all worth it and actually they are projects that you can show to co-op companies in the future. There really aren't any cons to this class.

Pros: Business 101 is a tough class, but Prof. Babitt is fair and really insightful - she makes learning business enjoyable! Grades are returned within just a few days and the class really confirmed that Business was the right major for me. There are a good amount of projects and 1 presentation but we knew about them for the whole term and, to be honest, it's college. This class is great because Prof. Babitt has a lot of energy, but you have to put the time into the class - but that's business for you. I think a lot of students who don't do well don't take the class seriously - Prof. Babitt is my favorite professor this term and I'm really looking forward to taking her 102 class. Take her and learn something!!
Cons: There are a lot of assignments, but they all have a purpose. Expectations are high, but that's really not a bad thing in the business world.

Pros: Fun activities and interesting discussions - Prof. Babitt is energetic and you can tell she cares about her students
Cons: Nothing I can think of
I had Prof. Babitt last year for my University class. The class was one of my favorites - it was enjoyable to come to and she had a lot of interested topics to discuss. There's no textbook for this class, just a lot of writing and reflection assignments which I really liked. If she teaches another class, take her. You can tell she really cares about her students and wants them to do well.

I've learned a lot from Prof. Babitt's UNIV class and feel like her class has helped me to get used to college life. She really knows what she's talking about when it comes to the city, college life and LeBow and I know that she'll be a really good resource for me now and in the future.
