Huge project that wasted 80 sheets of paper that she never looked out
Grading never made sense for her
Had her favorite student and thats it. Never paid attention to anyone else and you can tell as she just talked about herself.

 she is the worst teacher imaginable - one that doesn't teach. our TA did EVERYTHING for her. she'll play favorites and it will be so obvious to everyone. my team came second to last in the Mike's Bikes project and before we did our presentation, she already gave us a C because we didn't win. the truth is, teaching here isn't her job. she comes in twice a week to teach your class, you don't really learn anything, and she leaves with a huge chunk of your tuition money.

 The people on here say she is a bad teacher and they made bad grades, etc were probably just lazy and couldn't handle the college workload. Get real people, its only going to get harder from here on out. I feel like Prof. Ferrero gave us an appropriate amount of work for the class. Its business, and you have to have a work ethic. I actually learned things from her and enjoyed the class. For any future students reading this, don't be scared off by the other comments. Do your work, study, and pay attention and you will do just fine!

 Ferrero was not as bad as everyone else is making her out to be. She is very smart and experienced and that is very important. The people commenting on here are probably just not ready for college because does does everyone expect it to be easy? I think she is a very good teacher and people need to chill with these comments.

 This professor is a terrible. She is the worst teacher ever. She plays favorites everday and if you are on her bad list you will not pass. The dean should really evaluate this teacher. She does not deserve to be a teacher at drexel, maybe a kindergarden teacher, but i doubt she would even be good at that. She is a nasty mean teacher and does not care about her students.

 Ferarro is a complete bitch. One word to describe her would be a CUNT. I feel bad if she has a husband because this lady completely sucks. Everyone i no hates her. Shes a scum bag.

 If you are not good at understanding business concepts or have never been exposed to business get out of this class! Ferrero has alot of experience in the business world, but she can not teach at all. Lucky for my class we had a sweet and awesome TA. Without that everyone in the class would have definately been screwed on all the midterms and finals. You will also do way more work that the honors kids and only get about half the credit you deserve for all the projects and data you have to collect. Just save yourself the pain and switch out or even switch majors. Only a workoholic will enjoy this class.

 It is great when a teacher does so much, but not when she repeats it every class. Wow, she brought a company public, but only mention it once, when it is relevant. Whenever she tried to go over power-points of chapters we needed to know, she rambled on too much and it gets to the point where everyone had to stop listening. She goes off on a tangent for 30 minutes! Ferrero might have the experience, but not the teaching skills. That is one of the main problems. Degrees in business and high level jobs do not help you teach a class. Ferrero one had one class to teach this term and she never learned the names of our class, about 30 students. She definitely knew one person name, her " only student". She picked her favorites and only looks at him while she talks. She does not care about any of her students. Email her, get no response. She is a teacher and needs to be able to get contacted.
Now, the massive projects. She turned projects that made sense into way too much work. We had a stock market project where we had to follow 5 stocks and the DOW AVG or 5 weeks and find 2 articles about each per week. Then we had to write a journal about each stock. Fine, we all did that. Then she wanted us to print out all the articles as well as our journals. If you do the math (5 stocks +1 DOW AVG) times 5 weeks times 2 articles equals 60 things, which is more than one page. She is not and did not read the articles. I had over 70 pages to hand into her, when she only needed to look at about 10. Now, multiply my 70 pages by the number of students, 24 and you get 1,680 pages of worthless junk. I thought Drexel is trying to go paperless and the world trying to go "green", I guess not. If you get in this class you better hope you have a great TA like us because she saved us these two terms. Without her help, everyone would probably changed majors. Last, one of the worst things you have to do, Mike's Bike's Simulation. I am not going into specifics, but just say she tells you how you are suppose make decision and do stuff way after you did it and then yells at you. She thinks she knows what is going on, but nope. I have so much more to say, but I will bet there are going to be more students who are going to add onto my comments.

 Quite frankly she should not be a teacher. I know Drexel has this whole thing about valuing "experience" over degrees when it comes to teacher but I would've preferred someone with tons of degrees. Ferrero plays favorites, which is only good if you are fortunate enough to be one of them. She also grades really unfairly since she doesn't like to give partial points despite how she always says to at least write something down. Finally Mike's Bikes is the most obnoxious simulator program, especially since she never taught our class how to use it. If you enjoy learning on your own you'll probably do ok in Busn 101 but in 102 you'll be a little screwed when it comes to the Mike's Bikes group project.

 Excellent teacher, yes she is tough, yes she is demanding however if you work hard you will get rewarded. She doesnt take bullshit answers or papers. If you learn what she likes you should be fine. Just work hard, give it 110% and you will not only learn a lot but will be rewarded. Dont read too far into the other comments about not liking her, shes great, just a little tough. But honestly why would you want someone who is a pushover for Business, you need someone who is going to push you hard, and she will certainly do that. Take her!

 She gives so much work! and she once called our class stupid to the TA, i over heard and she was like don't they ever listen? i should just fail them. it was harsh. Also, she gives you so much work like her class is your only class. Stock market project involving following 7-10 different companies everyday, writing down their performance and printing out/cutting out of Wall Street Journal every article to do with those 7-10 companies. then analyzing those articles and explaining why stock went up or down and how the news might effect the company and customers- you do this for 4 weeks then you will hand in a 20 page paper that is a journal about all this stuff that you wrote in every day. After this you will be paired up with ppl who have companies in the same industries as you and you will give a presentation in front of your class regarding financial information, mergers and acquisitions......all her work takes for ever and on top of that she is a harsh grader.

 She does not even pretend to care about her students. On a positive note, you will learn in her class. You have to work hard to get just a decent grade, an A seems close to impossible. Her lectures our boring and right out of the book. LOTS of work!

 Professor Ferrero is a nice lady who does go off about her luxuries sometimes, but is overall a nice lady. She grades small assignments very easily, but the big assignments are hard to get anything higher than a B on. On a positive note, you will absolutely learn something in her class...

 Ferrero's alright, she grades pretty easy but the work we have to do in there can be so rediculous. The presentations also are a pain in the ass. She does know what she's talking about but it can be unbelievably boring for a 2 hour class.
