Pros: Didn't take attendance
Cons: Didn't give examples
Didn't teach to the test but rather what you needed help with
If you know your shit take it. However if you are like me and need help don't take this since he only does questions he is asked to do and doesn't do examples that will show up on quizes/exams.

Pros: Sweet guy
Funny personal stories
Flexible
Cons: Incredibly terrible teaching style
Never explains what he is doing
Quizzes and exams are unbelievably hard
Immordino is a super sweet guy, but I cannot stand the way he handles his classroom. He expects the students to go above and beyond to learn every possible thing for this course, and then when we happen to learn the material, he thinks it must be too easy and kicks up the intensity. Honestly, if you're reading this and have to take math 239, wait for another professor to teach it and then take it. You'll save a lot of time and save yourself from a lot of pain by getting a different professor.

Pros: Frequent take home quizzes
Usually ends class early
Doesn't take attendance
Cons: Bad at answering questions
Doesn't go over homework
Wastes time taking about personal life
Mr.Immordino is a nice guy, but he's a really awful teacher. When he does problems on the board, he never explains how he's solving it, and he often skips writing down steps that he does in his head, which makes it hard to follow along. Also, he assumes that you know basic Calculus (and I don't, since my last math class in High School was Pre-Calc in junior year) which makes it difficult to understand the material in the first month or so of class. Don't bother asking him questions. When you do, he treats you like you said the dumbest thing ever and answers you by repeating what he said before you asked, without making anything the least bit clearer. I reallyyyy hate his class.

Pros: Clear notes, wants to help you learn
Cons: I don't really care about your personal life (just sayin)
Doesnt do a lot of examples, mostly just notes/ concepts
Real solid teacher, gets off topic a lot and is easily distracted. If you need examples to learn though, I would not suggest him because he doesnt do that many.

Pros: homework once per week
quizzes are from ungraded homework
leave class early often
Cons: doesn't teach the material, he just quickly goes through examples
If you know the material it is an easy class for you, and he will allow you to leave class if you know what you're doing. If you need to learn the material then i would suggest a different teacher

I took only one of his class. He knows what he's doing. Sometimes he makes mistakes, but anyway they are just trivial ones. Prof. Immordino is a good instructor for this introductory level course for calculus.

Pros: Makes class entertaining, goes a good speed. Quizzes are based directly off of homework problems, and goes over any questions on the homework before the quiz.
Cons: Is a little scattered and gets chalk everywhere.
Sit in the front, ask questions, do the homework, and you will get a decent grade. Very nice guy, I would highly recommend him.

Pros: Explains material well, Gives ample time for reviewing before a quiz or test
His quizzes are taken straight from the homework. Do the homework and you will be fine in this class.

Pros: He really connects with the students and wants to help as much as he can.
He also makes the exams so he gives his students a heads up on what to study.
Cons: The tests are pretty difficult.

Pros: He was the best math teacher i have ever had. i really truly learned a lot, even though i already knew the subject. his quizzes were never overly hard. he always gave the class time before for you to ask questions from the homework, and all the quiz problems are from the homework so if you ask him to the right one he will do the problem right before the quiz.
Cons: none

Pros: He's very interesting, and he is a course coordinator so he knows a lot that some lower teachers wouldn't. Namely, exactly which questions would be on the exam (not that he will tell you, but it helps that he knows).

A really great professor. I definitely recommend taking him for calc. Really knows and explains material well, and wants you to succeed in the class. If you make the effort, there is no reason you can't get an A or B in his class, even though it is difficult material.

Keeps class fun and keeps you awake. Quizzes are verbatim homework problems and he will do any you ask before hand. I took him first term, got a b, didn't take him second term and got a C, took him this term and have done great on all my tests so far.
Do the homework, attend class, ask questions and the class is great.

pretty easy teacher as far as grading weekly quizes are concerned. quizes come right from homework problem and are usually easy. lets you go to any one of his lectures which is helpful since he has about 4. has some weird quirks but you get used to them fast. only problem is lots of time messes up his work. smart guy but very often gets lost in his own work which can be confusing. other than that, i would recommend again.

very good teacher. one of the smartest people ive known. Attendance is not required but there is NO way u pass the course without attending the class. He teaches very well, sit up in front and listen to every single thing he says. U will get an A

One of the better calculus teachers. He cares about students, knows what he's talking about, will go over a subject until everyone in the class is tired of it if you don't understand. Has good tips and tricks and cracks jokes too which makes the class more enjoyable.

He's an OK teacher - he doesn't do that many examples in class and doesn't really go in-depth. The quizzes are super easy, they are one of the odd homework problems assigned for the week. You can ask him homework problems on the day of the quiz and he'll do them on the board. You're in luck if you ask him the quiz problem! He'll usually announce when the quizzes are in advance, so you're really only required to show up on that one day or two a week. I took calculus in high school so I aced the exams easily, but the class was harder for those that hadn't seen the material before. If you really need to learn the material well, then I wouldn't recommend him. If you don't care as much and just want to get out of class early a lot, then take him.

Very considerate teacher since he curved one of the midterms by 20 points to get the class average to a C. He tries his best to explain the problems in class, but sometimes gets lost in his own work. That can be a big attention-breaker. His final for our quarter was a take-home that wasn't too hard. You could mostly find similar questions in the book or past quizzes.
Definitely do the homework as the weekly quizzes are identical to the problems. He's willing to do any problem on the board and explain any of the answers.
His notes for the lectures don't really correspond with the homework problems, so there is some component of the class where you have to study by yourself.
Overall, great teacher, but a little confused.

He was a nice guy who knew a lot about the subject and was very nice. However, he went too far into detail for a calc 2 class and complicates homework problems. He's a good teacher at Drexel, but I still would not recommend taking him.
