Cons: Sometimes intimidating to ask a question.
Cons: There are quizzes every week and that sucks, but it's math. What do you expect? They usually aren't difficult if you go to class and pay attention.
I would recommend Professor White because I can honestly say that I walked out of class having learned something about Calculus 2. I feel prepared for calculus 3 and so on and so forth...
Cons: Hard Quizzes.
Brutal Grader.
Cons: Test can be a little intimidating because if you get one wrong that could be a lot of points off but if you study and go to korman you should be good to go!
He can sometimes come off as mean, but he's actually a really nice teacher who cares if his students do well. If you show him that you're willing to work hard then he'll probably meet you halfway
Cons: Moves too quickly through topics without going through all the theorems.
The class is really dull, but i guess there is no exciting MATH class. He curved my final grade by almost 10 points and is generally a good teacher. Would recommend him.
Cons: condescending, too fast, exams hard, not in line with the other calc ii classes
I don't know why this professor connotates as a good teacher because in my opinion he never introduced topics just started doing problems without really teaching what it was about, his lessons are hard to follow and his quizzes are only 4-7 questions and 100 points so about 16 points per question, if you get half a question wrong, that's minus 8 points and you're already down to an A-, i would not take the night class but he does whatever he wants and does not follow the syllabus
Cons: He goes fast if nobody questions him. if you speak up he'll go over in great detail
Fair Grader / Easy Teacher
Cons: Nothing in electronic
Cons: Hard to persuade to get back points on tests.
Take this class!
Cons: His materials and exams often more difficult than in normal class
speaks english
allows calculator use
Cons: takes attendance
Cons: None.
Do the work, ask questions, you pass.
I usually completely fail in any and all my math classes before.
He taught the material rather efficiently.
As long as you take notes, do the homework, ask questions, etc. you'll have no problems in his class.
Sometimes the work he assigns or the quizzes are rather tough... but the principles you learn in them or strategies you get directly help you solve those extra hard questions on exams that 90% of the takers screw up on.
Heh, saved many of my exams that way.
Anyways, just pay attention and you'll do fine.
