 Pros: Professor Ingalls is very serious about her work and expects everyone to at least make an effort in her class.
Cons: Some of the work is extensive but she just wants it to be the best you can make it.
She is a very nice lady and offers great advice. Her feedback is always effective and she takes a lot of her time in responding to your work.

easily one of my favorite professors at Drexel. if you ask she will meet with you immediately and give you all the help you need. she does everything she can to make you succeed.great class discussions and online posts. if you put in the effort you will be rewarded, she grades tough but if you keep up she grades well. he teaches the first two into to English classes and i haven not learned more or improved my writing in any other class i have taken.

 Pros: Makes class fun - she's so full of energy! And it's clear that she loves what she's teaching. She really cares about her students and is willing to meet with you and offer extra help. You'll learnt a lot if you take a course with her. Also she does audio evaluations for everyone's writing projects which is really cool. She's probably the best English Professor at Drexel!
Cons: Her classes are way too much work. Also she never makes any kind of exception for anyone and never accepts an excuse. It's really really hard to get a good grade.

 Professor Ingalls is, by far, probably the best English teacher that I have ever had; although I was fairly confident in my writing, she encouraged me to write simply for the sake of writing, which I really appreciate. I'm even considering minoring in English because of her.
Not only is she sweet and understanding, her classes are characterized by a calm and relaxed atmosphere - she also tends to challenge you to think further, which is always good too.

 Prof. Ingalls was by far one of the best professors I've had thus far at Drexel and I am not even an English major nor am I close to one. She does give a tough workload, but there is an opportunity for a rewrite on one paper. She does her best to work with you and REALLY improve your writing. Also, it seems like she caters all of her classes to the specific class of students that she has and is constantly trying to mix things up to keep all of us entertained. I would no doubt take her again!
