Pros: - Not uncaring, but not helpful either
Cons: - Cannot understand his lectures
- Explanations are downright terrible
- Given tutorial codes are often riddled with mistakes or lack explanation
This is a class that combines lots of fundamental digital-logic theory (stuff you learned from ECE 200: Intro to digital logic) with basic applications. That being said, it's fairly crucial any soon-to-be EE or ECE engineers fully grasp the material being presented in this course. For example, you learn about logic gates, or systems of gates, and their corresponding boolean expressions... but how does that look/behave in real hardware? Another example: you learn about the theory of multiplexers and its corresponding boolean expression, but what exactly are their purpose?
Ideas talked about in the above are extremely important to grasp. As the concepts get more challenging however, it's difficult to bridge that gap between theory and application as the VHDL language itself is a new monster in unison with this whole new hardware paradigm you're suddenly thrown into: this is usually where the professor comes in.
Unfortunately for this class, as week 10 is just around the corner, I have not learned jack-sh*t from this damn professor. This class has so much potential to be exciting and enlightening... but I can honestly say the professor ruined it all.
So. Prepare for the worst as most of the teaching will come from yourself, online resources, or a TA that can actually explain the concepts.

Pros: I'm rating him as my recitation professor in ENGR 232. He's kind of funny.
Cons: Literally doesn't know the material.
If you can avoid this guy, do yourself a favor and don't take him.

Worst professor ever. No english speaking, no help to student. TA's are not helpful, either. This is the first time I felt like I'm a loser in a course. The reason Drexel keeps this guy is most probably research grants.

I regret the very day i signed up for his class. u wont understand what he says...i mean tries to say a sentence but he hardly ever manages to complete it...
he is a nice guy but a terrible teacher. I can easily say that he is the very worst teacher I have had in the past 19 years of my life

First off, this guy's grasp of English is nothing but a big 0! And not to forget his undecipherable accent which worsen things. He is not at all helpful(duh!) and definitely doesn't care about students.
Prabhu teaches the same courses and i found him to be a much better teacher. When i say "much", i mean like 10 times better!

I wonder in what kind of language he appeared for interview with department head in ECE? We are paying thousands and we would accept an increase of 100 dollars in tuition to get a translator in his class.

JESUS Christ! How did immigration let this guy through.. He really takes the cake and represents why drexel students feel so much pain when it comes to deciphering accents.
