Makes class interesting
Very nice
great accent!
Pia is my favorite Art History teacher! She makes class fun even though the subject could be boring and likes to involve the class. her accent is great to listen to and she is a fair grader.
Cons: Attendance is required. Don't play computer or other things in the class, she will get mad with you.
She is an easy grader. You can get a good grade if you do good on quizzes and final even though you fail on the midterm.
Thereâs a research paper where you have to visit the Penn Museum and choose a piece of art to compare/contrast with one that was discussed in class. She gives you a list of art that you can choose from in the museum. I suggest looking up information on the pieces of art and choosing one with the most material online (only academic sources can be used). Just pay attention and take good notes, book is not required.
Cons: The paper that we had was much more difficult and time consuming than it first seemed (but it was interesting so it wasn't too bad.) Also, 3 hours straight of art history can be rough, but she does a good job keeping interest.
She's a great Art History professor and a really nice lady! The subject was sometimes uninteresting, but her enthusiasm alone kept me listening. We had one paper and two exams. They weren't ridiculous, but they did require a good amount of attention, so don't blow it off. I would definitely recommend her.
I loved her class so much I've taken her 3 times already, and so have many other people.
Cons: kind of difficult to understand at first, but you can still learn a lot
Cons: None.
Great professor! I would definitely take her over again!
PS - Don't take Morscheck for ARTH 102 after having Pia. You will want to kill yourself.
there is no homework, all the material is very interesting and the professor really cares about the students.
So if anyone need a selective class, i really recommend it. You will definitely get an A.
