Very Boring. Sounds like the teacher from Ferris Bueller's Day off. Constantly losing focus. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

NEVER AGAIN!
I sort of doubt his expertise on the subject. He got a bachelor in architecture, a master in accounting, and now teaching statistics&opm? Think about it again before taking his class.

Terrible at communicating the material to the students.
There will probably be a huge curve for the exam because he doesn't explain the material, which appear on the exam, properly to the students.
No point in showing up for class.
Just terrible overall

Sitting in his class, I was like "Just kill me!" What on earth was he talking that I could never get? Or he was just talking to himself. A dick!

I'd send him to the imp crucible for making the class so fucking awful!!! Fucking decision sciences dept didn't put on instructor names at the time I registered. Lucky for you that he didn't teach STAT201 this fall, but POM300. Be careful!!! He'd make your life a fucking boring living hell!!!

FUCKING HORRIBLE....
not much to say...no passion, a total dick, pretty much the worst teacher i've ever had.
When it's him vs another teacher for the class 100% for the other teacher...
FUCK HIM

Awful. Fucking awful.
-boring
-can't explain anything
-inaccessible
-grading was unrealistic (he would often be looking for answers to things that he didn't ask in the question)

lets just say he'd better blow himself out or find a job other than teacher. cant explain, cant talk, cant communicate. what the hell.
stat is not easy. if you couldnt follow and he couldnt help you either, you'd be fucked in the exam. good luck understanding ta's too.

monotone voice as a result of reading his notes puts the better part of the class literally to sleep. the only reason people come is because he quizes every class. when asked a question about class material - every response no matter what the question is "ummm.....i ll post it online later" or "ummmm.....i ll have to get back to you on that on tuesday" which tells me that he doesnt even have a clue about what he just taught us - which is horseshit. multiple choice tests and quizes that leave you with no way to get any partial credit - which is a concept which is almost absolutely unheard of in math based classes dont even think about asking to be excused for anything because it "wouldnt be fair to the rest of the class" but realistically he couldnt give a rats ass about the students quite frankly, I want my money back.

He doesn't know a thing about the subject. A simple question tripped him up for hours. Don't take him! Take McWilliams! How could the department let him teach what he doesn't know?

Avoid him at all costs!!! He speaks softly like hello kitty!!! His facial expression is cold!!! Feel like he's so isolated from us!!! Take McWilliams instead!!!

This professor is boring and unfair. He uses an unpublished book full of errors and expects us to learn from it correctly. I was in recitation and my TA found tons of errors. Come time for the exam, I can say confidently that no one was ready. This is evident from the fact that the average score was a 38%!

I went to meet Prof. Desnoyers because I wanted to see my options about the bad score that I received on the midterm, but then he pooped on my face. Like literally, he pooped on my face...I still have the brown spots on my clothes to prove it.

I'm a good student who gets good grades, but this class is absurd! The class average for the midterm was less than 50...yes, out of 100.
Not only is he monotone, but he does not explain concepts (even the most difficult) to any extent... then they show up on the exam. Also, good luck refuting a question.
If this class wasn't completely required, I would have dropped it after the first week. Look for another professor.

I'm currently taking him this term and I can't help but MENTION how much he sounds like the damn Marvin the Martian from The Looney Tunes. It doesn't get anymore monotonous than this. If you ever decide to take him, you'll see what I mean.

Boring and monotone. The online test helped more that his notes. Midterm and final where similar to the question on the online quizes.

This guy might have a degree from princeton but has no business being in a classroom. his lectures literally put the better part of the class to sleep. his tests and quizez are all multiple choice so theres no room whatsoever for partial credit when it comes to math. if you ask him a question about something he just taught, he ll give you the answer next week - he cant just answer it, probably because he just reads his notes and doesnt actually KNOW the material.
Also couldnt give a rats ass about the students so dont even waste your time asking to be excused for something legitimate
i dont recon he ll be around much longer after teaching this class the way he did
