 Pros: 1) He's the physics department head, so being taught by him is pretty boss
2) He genuinely cares for all of his faculty and students
3) If you take the time to talk to him, he's actually really helpful-he helps you understand, he doesn't just do it for you
4) He's a really nice professor who is always willing to help, even with other classes
5) You can go to him and he helps you sort through problems, like if you wanna change majors or something like that
Cons: 1) Some of the things you have to do for homework you don't really discuss in class, which isn't his fault it's his TA's fault
2) He's French and he has a thick accent so some people find it hard to understand sometimes
He's an awesome professor and if you can get a chance to have him for a class, take it, you won't regret it!

it may be hard to understand him when he rambles and goes off on a tangent, but he doesn't require you to memorize everything he says.

 Awesome coverage of the material. Never a dull moment. The puns and jokes that were thrown around in this class were spectacular.

 Goes over material extensively, if you work hard and care atleast alittle bit about the class he will help you. I honestly rarely had trouble understanding him, there were a few spots when he talked about integration, but other than that he was nice, and a fair grader.

 Extremely Nice Guy. Horrible Teacher! knows his stuff, but cant relay it to students effectively. Maple 10 should be removed from the Commerce and Engineering Major. His class is the reason all Commerce and Engineering majors switch to other majors. He classes need to be observed by other faculty members. I come from a family of school administrators and his class needs to be OBSERVED! iT would also help if the TA spoke english and was aware of hygiene methods. Never take PHYS 480 A WITH THIS GUY!

 Vallieres is an excellent example of why no one from France should be allowed to breathe. He is a horrible teacher, which is compounded by the fact that he curves to a C. Unfortunately if you're a C&E major you have to take this asshole, cheat if at all possible.

 Good guy, heavy accent, can't teach for shit. instead of taking him, shoot yourself in the face.

 His class is difficult, but if you do your work you can still get an A. His accent made it difficult to understand what he was saying and the material can be a bit dry...but if you go to class, take notes and do your assignments you won't blow the class.

 Brilliant guy. But with an accent and his age, has difficulty coming across clearly to students. If you are really good with computers, this class may not be too bad.

 He knows his stuff, but can't teach it. His accent's horrible to understand, and there's no need to teach Chem students Maple. Thank god the TA graded pretty easily, cuz he's so picky. I hope I never get stuck with him again. Gooc luck to all those who have to have him.

 A really nice man, however,its extremely difficult to understand what he is saying. He obviously knows what he's talking about, it's just difficult for him to teach the material to people who aren't on his level.

 worst man alive! he cant teach and he doesnt seem to give a damn. you cant understand him and the material is total bullshit. dont take him if you want to have a decent gpa.

 3rd worst teacher in 4 years. Not much I can say other then don't take him because he is an unfair, tasteless, classless, bad man. Nice hat too.
