Professor Lockard is an amazingly intelligent person. She truly knows her stuff. She is not an easy professor but she will teach you a lot and demand a lot of attention and work to do well in her class. Her exams are fair but they require critical thinking which a lot of students aren't used to using.

Pros: - Very strong lecturer. Makes sure everyone understands the content before moving on
- Asks questions in a unique way so you begin to understand the whole story of the body instead of memorizing facts
Cons: - Hard tester for some
- Can come off as strict and abrasive to some
I love Lockard! I thought her lectures were super clear and covered everything we needed to know. Her exams challenged you in a good way to make sure you truly understand the content. She curved the exams and class a lot because some people struggled with her exams and she doesn't want to fail anyone.

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Every multiple choice question on her exams is a trick question with options like "both A and C" or "All of the above" just to make it harder than it already is. I went into every exam confident and walked out sick to my stomach. The worst part about it is that when you try to see if your answer on an exam was correct, you won't be able to. The textbook and her lectures have no relevance to the course. Avoid at all costs and save your GPA.

Pros: She knows what she's talking about and is very smart.
She is willing to meet with struggling students to look over their tests.
She scares me so much I actually try harder to be prepared for class and lab.
Cons: She is an awful teacher. She teaches directly from her power points, yet they barely help. She goes on rants during class not writing anything down. She aspects people to be fast enough to keep up. She is a 102 teacher and constantly mentions things that we well learn in 103! hello this is 102 not 103 stick to what we need to know for this test. Leave the 103 material to that teacher. Her test are extremely hard with too many tricky questions with "distractor" answers. She does not seem to help students, rather just confuse them.
She is extremely unfair and gives only certain students advantages over others. She gave students with test grades below a 59 a chance to replace the grade, but not anyone else.
Prepare to try very hard, and learn more than you need to about the topics. Good luck if you have her and say goodbye to your social life.

Pros: Easy tests, questions are straightforward and not deceiving.
In addition she curved all our tests and also dropped lowest test grade
Cons: Not a very good lecturer
You have to study with the textbook. If you expect to get through the class with just her lectures you're going to fail. She isn't the best teacher but the class is really easy if you put in the effort

Dr. Lockard is easily the WORST teacher at Drexel, do not take her unless you absolutely have to!

She knows the body and anatomy inside and out. However, she is a terrible teacher, she cares nothing about students learning, and her exams do not reflect our knowledge of anatomy. She often tells you wrong information, and her grading system is completely unfair. There is NO arguing a correct point with her as she is always in the right. For those who take her class: beware.

She is unorganized and scatter brained and it shows in the way she presents the material. Lecture is a typically a struggle to learn. She is very intelligent, but is not an effective professor. Many times her exams are not representative of what she talks about in class or even in the specific book that is assigned for the course.

Pros: A very smart woman, knows everything about the body.
Cons: Work load is extremely heavy. Expects participation in lecture. It's extremely hard to get an A.

Lockard is by no means a good professor. For one, she is not a interesting lecturer. Two, the way she presents the information is nowhere near as basic as the way that she tests you on it. Three, she is strange. I don't want to whine and say her exams are super difficult, but I think if people that actually study do poorly on her exams, then there might be something wrong with the way the professor is writing these exams. Also, multiple choice questions should have one answer, not be planned to have multiple options without a proper forewarning. Lastly, she has made me hate anatomy and physiology. I really looked forward too the material we were supposed to learn in the last sequence; however, my strong dislike towards her has completely turned me off from attending the lectures.

Not pleasant to work with, does not explain the material well, and does not follow the text (although she claims to). The tests were next to impossible.

This is no easy class. You have to work hard to earn your grade. She had a lot of curve points on the tests because they are really hard. But if you work hard and try to endure the lectures, You'll get an A. I would defintely take her again.
