Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Heavy accent.
He will assign problem per group and your group need to send a representative. Poor representative will be destroyed at the board even though your representative understand the problem and know how to solve it.
He can not see and hear properly.
While you are doing his problem that he assigns to you, he will give you a stupid lecture, so you one ear listen his lecture and another half of your brain solve problem at the same time. Avoid him if you can.

Pros: answers questions, and can maybe sometimes possibly be kind of nice/helpful
Cons: hard to understand, very particular about doing problems his way
I had him for recitation. He makes you do the recitation problems in class as a group (usually with those you're sitting next to) to collect them at the end of class after one of you does it on the board. I guess that is how he takes attendance. However, during the class (while you're scrambling to get the problem done) he lectures for an unnecessarily complicated and hard to understand hour. I honestly haven't paid attention to one of them and I still ended up getting an A in the course by only following Tretiak's lecture power points (with a generous curve of course). Really do the recitation problems. God bless whoever goes up to the board. He will destroy you if you don't understand the problem or if you do understand the problem and don't do it EXACTLY the way he wants you to do it. If you can avoid taking him, for your sake please do so.

The worst professor in Drexel so far. He should be fired, hired and then fired again. Just to ruin his self esteem. He has a serious expression on his face all the time as if he is angry with the whole world. Does not give a flying fuck his students and thinks his job is to only come to class, teach and then go. His exams and homeworks are easy but he is the most partial grader I have ever come across. Please deport this man back to Russia.

His class was "no free lunch" as he would state repeatedly. But, overall- he was a good professor and his TA was also helpful. He was not as easy to ask questions in class because he would not always understand the question and would not want to waste time with all of that "propaganda."
He's definitely not one of the professors that you need to avoid to wait for a better professor.
A recommendation would be to go to the TA for help and do not wait until you do poorly to do so. The exams were not tricky and if you do the homework, you'll be fine.

Worst professor ever. His English is really bad, and on top of all I always fell asleep in his class. From 15 people half of them dropped. The only thing is that he curves a lot at the end in order not to make everybody fail. Don't ever take him cause you wont understand what's going on in the class.

Took a class with about 15 other students. Seemed to care, always asked if his english was okay enough for us to understand, and stressed on points for our understanding. Seemed worried that we would not get the concepts.
Would retake.

The larger the class the worse it gets. In small classroom environments he is a very good teacher and adapts well to the pace of the class. In large classes this is not possible so he goes at his pace which leaves many students behind.
