 Pros: He gives you the grade you deserve, very attractive, good choice of reading material, he's funny without being distracting. All in all, he's my favorite english teacher.

 the biggest asshole i have ever met i have no respect for this person. in the beginning of the term it seemed like he was a great professor very understanding but no looks can be deceiving i had family member in the hospital and i had to miss 2 classes and even though i told him before had i will be missing those classes he went ahead and dropped me from the class not understanding the situation ...

 Pros: If you do all your work and turn it in on time, you will pass. He is VERY reasonable and kind.
Cons: Class itself is a little tough. Reading pace is fast and amount of reading is a little much.

 I did ALL my work and got a B. Don't take him. Not to mention I got good grades on the work I did. He doesn't give any input during discussions and basically expects his students to keep the discussion going. When once asked what his opinion was on a certain subject, he made some stupid joke and changed the subject, without ever revealing his opinions. Bad professor. If you're going to teach a college-level course then you should act like a college-level instructor. Still mad that he messed up my GPA.
*Side note, the entire English department at Drexel needs a reality check. ENGL 101, 102, and 103 should not be handing out B's to students who do their work. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is my first professor rating, and I am pleased I chose Professor Cooney. He is a compassionate man, very willing to address your concerns. If you have English 101/102/103, choose him.

 My favorite teacher at Drexel so far. He is so nice and into what he is teaching. Personally, I love English so I always loved going to this class, but there were plenty of people that weren't as into it and he understands that. Very flexible with deadlines and gives great feedback!

 Pretty Much an easy A if you take a hybrid class. I slacked off pretty bad and got away with a B+ Just do your work on time and you should be fine

 he's a really really nice guy and his class is very easy. a pretty easy grader and doesn't ask for too much from students. I slacked off pretty bad and still got a B+
