 Pros: Very nice

Literature Review
The class was fairly easy, not too much work except for a 5 page literature review. that wasn't sarcasm, i'm just saying other than that, it was easy. She's nice but quiet and shy. She does not make the class fun at all. I'm surprised she's a professor. She almost seems scared of her own students. I can't picture her getting angry or yelling at anyone. She's way too introverted.

 If you are looking for an easy A and don't really need to learn about sociology then this is the teacher to take. In terms of teaching she is quiet and boring and sometimes you cannot understand what she is talking about. Don't trying asking her a question either because she will ramble on about everything except what you actually asked so you will just be even more confused. Unfortunately attendance is part of the grade, but she just gives easy quizzes that you can do well on by just reading the book since you will not learn anything from her lectures. There is also an annoying research project that you have to do, but as long as you follow the guildelines you should be fine.

 Pros: Easy. Big chunk of grade was attendance and participation since it was a night class. Weekly quizzes were simple if you read the text. Only homework was to have discussion questions for two chapters throughout quarter.
Cons: BORING!
She's a really smart teacher, knows her material and actually cares. However, her lectures are mind numbing and her voice monotone. Also students in the class were incredibly stupid so discussions were awful. Not the teachers fault though.

 Pros: If you pay attention in class and take notes and skim over the readings, the quizzes are a piece of cake.
Cons: VERY VERY BORING.
She has very poor public speaking skills and when she shows videos, they are dated and even more boring than her.
I was in and out of most classes and I still passed with a low B. A lot of the content is common sense.

I didn't get anything out of this class. It was boring and I only went in for the quizzes which werent difficult. There are three data mining assignments that were time consuming but not too difficult. Then there is a paper for the final which is just annoying because the whole class really has no point. I'm a nursing major and I dont think this class added anything to my education.

 Kendall Roark clearly is uncomfortable speaking publicly. Anthropology should be an interesting and engaging class, but Kendall makes it painstaking. She writes notes on the board, but dances around them, never actually explaining anything. When she asks you a question and you respond, she just give you an unsure "ok", so you never know if you're right or wrong. Ridiculous amount of reading for a weekly quiz. Never again.

 AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Her class consists of her reading from powerpoint slides and is extremely boring.
Her exams were ridiculous. For the midterm she gave an exam with 75 multiple choice questions and 1 essay, which had to be at least three pages long and expected students to finish in an hour.
She is also incredibly biased and if you do not share her same point of view, you will not do well.
AVOID HER LIKE THE PLAGUE!

 she's a nice person but she needs to take a public speaking class. she says "um" "like" "you know" "within frameworks of blah blah blah" the entire time. she tries to mix too much varied vocabulary together, and by the end of her rambling sentences you don't even know what the hell she was talking about. she grades easy but you have to read a shitload of material for the tests. for real, don't take this class.

 BORING...she has no idea what the hell she's talkin about and says "um" about 30 times per 10 sec (i counted)...she has slides that she rambles off of but you can NEVER get any good notes from what she says....HORRIBLE WOULD NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER take her again

 Do NOT take this class if you're expecting something interesting or if youre expecting an actual balanced view on gender. The readings are soo one sided its not even funny. If I wanted to hear feminist mumbo-jumbo the whole term I would have just taken womens studies. The readings off Web CT are poor quality, she ahs her own notes scrawled in the margin, her assignments are unclear, class is boring, and she doesnt answer questions emailed to her which I really resent since I paid to take her class and she GOT paid to teach me.

 Just don't do it. If she was on this website during the spring I would have known better but she wasn't. Teaching is NOT something she should be doing for a living. Class is extremely boring and she tries to turn a 100 level class into a 400 level class. DON'T DO IT. She needs to be a researcher instead of a teacher.

 she's your typical teacher that just got out of grad school and thinks just because you have 8 different mediums during the class (projector, movie, board) your a good teacher. she is horribly boring, has absolutely no response to anything you say in class, and assigns way too much work to do then gets upset when everybody can't get it done. save yourself the trouble, don't take her.

 don't do it, just don't. she is absolutely horrible and i learned nothing from her. she does not explain anything so that you can understand it and she gives out assignments like her class is writing intensive. probably the worst prof. i've had at drexel so far.

 Probably the worst teacher I've ever had in my life. She teaches nothing. You learn nothing unless you do the reading. If you take her, you are asking for a waste of time and a waste of your tuition. She actually took points off for the size of my margins.

 Was a tad nervous at first but relaxed as term progressed. Well prepared for lectures and indepth review of the material. A lot to learn but she makes it easy.
