Makes material interesting
His teaching style is mostly based on discussion. Discussions were interesting and I gained a lot from them. Assignments can be vague which some people may not like but if you come to class and listen you'll get a good grade and enjoy your self.
Assignments are helpful with practicing the materials in class.
Cons: Some assignments can be more detailed.
I did not take his class for Cognitive psychology, instead i had him for PSY 364 - Computer-Assisted Data Analysis. It was a statistic class and at the time I was taking another statistic class but on a different field. That class I took was econometrics. Although what I learned from his class were mainly basic statistics but it was able to create a large foundation for me to expand it to my other class. It was really helpful and I had to say that without his class I would've probably fail my econometrics class.
Take his class if you can. I would highly recommended it. Also he's a really cool guy, interesting in personality. I had quite a lot of fun in his class.
Interesting
Cons: Unorganized
He doesn't really keep to the syllabus so you have to go to class to know when quizzes and homework's are due but he's laid back and understanding and generous with homework extentions
Cons: Is unoganized in his teaching style and I can't say I was able to take away much material from the class
Osipowicz is a pretty interesting guy who is more interested in getting you interested in how awesome cognitive psychology can be. As far as the course, just do the weekly assignments and you should get an A in the class
Cons: Difficult Material
