 Pros: Great teacher.

 Pros: If you need to take any organic chemistry class, take Professor Xi! he is absolutely the best organic chemistry professor i had in Drexel university. Compared to various organic chemistry professors here at Drexel, professor xi teachers the general concept and goes in depth from that point on. For instance, other organic chemistry professors (will not name any names) copy directly from the textbook and reads their either their power points or computer-written notes. They do not take the time explaining the core concepts like Professor Xi does. I highly recommend Professor Xi.
Also, if you do choose to take his course, you must attend every lecture since his exams are lecture-based. A majority of his problems are lecture note problems with a slightest increase in difficulty.

 Pros: Has a rule, that if you get an A on the final, you will get an A for the final grade (regardless of your grades on the previous two exams).
Professor Xi wants his students to learn organic chemistry, and he wants them to do well. He gives out take-home quizzes, which are not graded unless you do well. If you do well he will give you extra credit for the quizzes. Also, he gives out a practice exam for the two midterms -- study those and know all the topics covered and you should do well. The textbook is not necessary unless you need clarification on some topics. His notes are very organized, and easy to follow.

 Pros: As mentioned earlier, "Ace the final, ace the class." GUESS WHO DID? =D Haha. Seriously, though, LOVE this policy.

Note intensive course. Attendance not required but you should go, he tests a lot from his lecture notes.

 Pros: Gives reasonable tests, and practice tests that give you a good idea of what to expect.
Cons: Lectures are long and boring, but that is par for the course in an orgo class.
