Pros: Knows her stuff and is passionate. She really is a good teacher i think
Cons: Waaaaaay too strict, thinks shes teaching pre-schoolers. She gets so mad about phones and laptops. Assigned us written tests for a public speaking class............ :/. She tried waay too hard to make people care cos she knew it was just an elective people had to take

Blumberg is such a kind lady. You can tell that she truly cares for her students. She encourages class discussion, so if you like to talk about different issues in the media world you may enjoy her class. There are two "quizzes" at the beginning of the term which are just smaller exams. She then has two "exams" which are relatively easy. The only problem with them is that there are several essays and a lot of writing. She requires a few papers throughout the term, none of which are above two pages. Put some effort into her class, and you'll get a good grade and learn a lot.

Easy, and really makes public speaking easier than it might be otherwise.

I REALLY hate public speaking, but she made it doable by breaking it down into certain criteria. Honestly, as long as you fulfill all of the requirements, she'll give you an A. She's not like other teachers who try to embarass you in front of class, but she does give a good critique when you finish the first two speeches. Also, participating in ANYTHING will raise your grade (e.g. helping out with the computer, answering questions, asking questions). She's definitely the best teacher for Techniques of Speaking.

Easy class. 3 speeches: the first speech was 3-5 minutes, the second speech was 15-17 minutes, and the third speech is 5-7 minutes (it was supposed to be 10-12 minutes). She's a lenient grader as long as you follow directions.

This was my favorite course. She only required 3 speeches and grading was really fair. I think that even the people who come in hating public speaking will leave with a love for it. She is a really qualified teacher for this course due to the numerous jobs she holds in conjunction.

It would appear as though she has little knowledge of the subject. Class is über-boring. I thought the class would be interesting, but all you do is analyze websites and have to present them. Very little is done about writing for the web. It is an easy elective, but I would suggest taking it with someone else.

Shes really nice and adapts the course to what you want to learn rather making you learn things you dont care about. Shes really easy going but really loves you to present to the class every hw assignment she assigns. Definately take her.

She only requires 3 speeches but you must speak for longer than is required by other professors who require 5 speeches. She always has great things to say about every speech and she will offer helpful suggestions to improve your public speaking skills. This class is not every difficult and great for seniors who need non-business electives. I took it my last term at Drexel and enjoyed it. I would recommend her to anyone that is taking this course.

She is very energetic and excited about the work she does. There's only 2 easy tests and a 3 page paper. She's super nice, too. Definitely take her if you can!

She's a bit too lax, and we had problems getting in everything that we needed to. However, if you need to take this course, take it with her. She only requires 3 speeches, whereas most other professors require 5.
