Cons: The exams are petty hard so you have to understand the concepts explained in lecture and recitation.
Your recitation TA is the most important factor because the lectures don't help enough.
Cons: His exams are hard and complex. The labs are completely irrelevant.
The TAs will help you with anything you need.
He's a horrible teacher
Cons: He can barely speak English, and even his exams and quizzes are hard because they are ambiguous or badly worded. Half the test is figuring out what the problem is even asking exactly. Uses transparencies and runs through problems without truly teaching.
Can barely speak English, not much of a teacher. Learn of the book and just sit in lecture in case theres a quiz
Cons: his english is kind of fuzzy, his tests and quizzes are hard. Some of The TA's also don't speak fluent english...
Everyone gets like a 40 and then he applies a massive curve to bring the average to a 75... I mean Im not going to fight it, but its still messed up!
The fact that this man is still employed after the pathetic curve that was created just to pass the vast majority of the class is insulting to me as a student and paying Drexel consumer. We pay a high price to get a good education, not to get stuck in a class no one can pass unless a 45% is curved to a "C". We should demand more from Drexel and stop letting them tote Professors' research achievements to the collegiate world while blatantly ignoring alarming teaching failures.
Complaining is nice when you need to vent, but if you want to do something for yourself and the students that come after you, voice your concerns! Write your advisor and COAS Dean. This is unacceptable!
