Pros: He's cute and funny.
Classes are interesting.
He is very kind and considerate.
If you have a question, he does a good job of breaking the concepts down even further to explain.
Cons: The notes are not as thorough as some of the other professors, so it is necessary to go to classes to understand them.
He simplifies things a bit too much at times.
GO TO CLASS. If you have Aran, it really is worth it to go to class. Online videos may be shorter, but classes give you the exact type of problems that the quizzes and exams will use and you have more time to let it 'sink in'.

Pros: OMG. I am in LOVE with Professor Aran! Seeing him makes my day brighter and lighter. He is so cute and friendly.. is that bad to have a crush on your professor? I don't think so. I started enjoying math because of him! He's made such a huge impact on me and my grades.

Pros: Very caring Professor, gives great lectures. Responds very quick to emails and is very helpful. Easy to understand the material

I would recommend this professor, a great teacher.

Pros: Great professor. He is very good at explaining things and he really cares about his students. A very nice guy and one of my favorite professors at Drexel.
Cons: Some of the exam questions are multiple choice which kind of screwed my grade over. They are worth 4 or 5 points each so no partial credit is given for the wrong answer. I thought the exams were a little unfair.

Pros: amazing professor with very clear notes and explains everything in an understandable way
Cons: goes fast sometimes and often promises to have notes/lectures posted online by a certain date but never actually posts them up
Jason is an amazing professor and I definitely recommend anyone taking calc to take him. He sometimes goes through class quickly but his notes are so clear that you can understand everything. His online notes are awesome as well but sometimes he doesn't post up the answer keys to worksheets on time but its no big deal. If you do all the homework problems from the online worksheets and ask for help on them, you are guranteed a solid grade in the course. Sometimes, the homework problems assigned are much harder than the actual exam. Also I recommend taking Jason b/c sometimes the worksheets he gives in class have problems that are found on the exams. Overall, he's a really kind and cool teacher and just take his class if you have the chance.

Pros: - excellent teacher
- really loves math
- great especially if math isn't your strongest subject
- super super nice guy!
Cons: - none!
Hands down the best math teacher I've ever had. Jason Aran has the uncanny ability to explain complex math concepts in the more understandable terms. I had taken Trig and Calc in high school and got good grades, but always struggled to do so. Jason really opened my eyes to how math truly makes sense. You can easily feel his passion and love for the subject, and I haven't met a single student who disagrees!

The cutest, greatest, and neatest (next to Falco) professor I have ever had. He's the sort of professor you just always want to have because he is always smiling on good and bad days. In addition, his notes are adorable! He puts smiley faces on the board and says things like "oh this looks like a hard problem to derive and simplify with fraction...ummm...why did you guys let me choose these numbers?" Also, he is always willing to offer help to students who ask for it. Never does he say figure it out on your own unless its a quiz or exam. He knows the hard problems and the students who are struggling with it. Also...just take Aran! He's great!

Pros: Great teacher.
His class is very easy to follow
Jason is very cute, and he smiles all the time
Cons: Nothing!
I am very lucky to have Jason as my Math 101 instructor this term. At him, you can see the passion for Math. He does really care about students, and help you whenever you need. Email him your questions, and you will receive the reply very fast. I want him for my Math 102 next term; however, he is assigned just for the Math 122 classes. So jealous with people studying Math 122 for having him the next term.
In addition, he has given me the inspiration that I've decided to do minor in Math after a longtime considering. I hope I would have more time talking to him even when I'm not in his classes anymore.

Pros: so nice, has a real passion for math, easy to understand, great at explaining, always offers help, always smiling
Cons: none that I can think of!
Jason Aran is literally the best math teacher I have ever had. Though Math 101 was a relatively easy course compared to the calculus and such I had taken in high school, Jason Aran is amazing at explaining how to do the problems and engaging the entire class. He offers any and all help you need. You can really see and feel his passion for math and for the first time in my life I didn't hate going to math class!

Cons: -when he keeps the class the whole time- very boring

He was an amazing professor. He is young and can easily relate to his students. He does not take attendance and usually goes over things more than once so if you miss a class or two you will be completely fine. I never used the text book, nor did i need to. The whole class is very easy material to grasp, its all conversions and dimensional analysis. I would recommend this class!

I dont really see all the hype in this teacher. Yeah he is pretty chill and likes to crack all the corny math jokes during class, but he goes way too fast in class for me to stop and ask him a question on something specific. He is very flexible with quizzes and homework, but class at times can get very boring and then speed up really quickly.
