Cons: accent, but ok to understand.
excellent professor.
Cons: Cannot lecture for his life. He skips parts of topics so you do not understand them, or things that build off them.
He is a researcher, not a lecturer.
I am the person who loves his accent.
Cons: If you're not in the mood to learn chem, you wont.
He has an accent. He is the honors teacher: I guess they expect us to learn it on our own.
He might be a pyromaniac.
Posts his lectures online
Cons: Gets a little distracted when he's talking
Carbon twerve
Cons:
Cons: He is a terrible professor. I fell asleep in his class quite frequently. I tried fairly hard in his class and got a B+, whereas I had Dan King in 101 and easily got an A.
Avoid Ji like the plague.
The OWLs (no matter how much I hate them) help a lot in prepping for exams. There are always practice tests on BbVista for you to do in order to study.
Cons: Lecture is kind of boring. and useless. You really don't have to go. Just study by yourself and you'll get by with an A (if you actually study. )Not a good teacher, but he's nice guy, with a surprisingly silly sense of humor, who seems quite knowledgeable. Towards the end of the year, he started doing cool experiements which made lecture a smidge better. Some people were really affectd by his accent, but to me, it was not a problem-thought it was kind of adorable.
Daniel King is much better. Take him if you can.
Cons: Sometimes difficult to understand (don't think English is his first language). Sometimes skips around through notes, making it difficult to follow.
Lectured for the only honors section the term I took him. My second time through chem (took AP in high school) and I was able to learn a good bit of supplemental information that wasn't in the book or on the tests.
Cons: Strong accent. hard to understand
