Honestly, I really wasn't fond of the textbook which was assigned for this course (and yes, reading it is a crucial part of the course). The author frequently spent 12-15 pages describing a theory and then devoted half a paragraph to explain why it was wrong. It was just wasn't good writing.

Pros: He has clear exams.
Cons: Makes you go to class because there are pop quizzes every week. really weird about using technology in class.

Cons: 2-3 quizzes a week
quizzes the week on midterm
tests are worded in a way you second guess yourself nonstop
I took this thinking it would be an easy online class. I was totally wrong. He gives you about 2-3 quizzes a week even on an exam week. He thinks everyones trying to cheat so he makes you come in at 7:30AM to take the midterms. Tests are impossible. They are worded weird so you'll get most of them wrong. This guy takes PHIL105 too seriously. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Trust me, normally I don't rate professors because they all usually suck, but this guy is god awful.

He knows his stuff but the class is stagnant and not very lively. I wish the class was more engaged. The material is kinda tricky but not impossible to understand. It's philosophy. Some love it some hate it.
3 exams and many quizzes. Do the homework and go over the extra work he has posted online.

Pros: Active listener/lecturer, provocative in a good way, knows the material
Cons: If you don't like criticism, don't take class. Personally, it was awesome.
One of the best teachers in my PLU experience
