Cons: Loud voice. LOL
Cons: She has leadership assignment which I heard just for her class
Two exams instead of three in other sections.
Two Leadership assignments.
Grading seriously and not that easy to get points
Cons: Workload is heavy in honors section for we have extra case studies. The other works are the same for every section so it is just normal for BUSN102 is a core course.
Have to study the book on your own to geyt A in exams. Her slides are a bit irrelevant to the test. Have to pay great attention to guest speakers and videos in class for they are usually the last essay question in exams.
She is a very great teacher. And she let you to have a "life happened" card for once during the whole term to avoid any penalty for absence or missed deadline, and she herself used one chance to leave early and drive her child to a contest:)
I took her for honors section in 101 and 102. Last term there was a week when she was out to a meeting, and we had to go to the other honors teacher's section. It was just awful. I realized that she is such a great teacher after that class with the other professor. She is so much more organized and funny comparing to Jodi. Not that Jodi is bad.
Cons: follows the rules, but tha'ts not really bad.
She was a good professor, i don't have any complaints, it is easy, go to every class, and pay attention, you need the book
There's not enough awesomeness in the world to describe Dana. She's simply the best! I've taken 5 classes with her now and hopefully she teaches some higher level classes down the road.
Cons: Can't really think of anything bad, i mean if you act like a horrible student, she'll act like a horrible teacher.
She's great, I heard that finnin's better, but i'm pretty content with her, i'm glad i had her for busn 101 and will be having her for busn 102
Cons: Not much to speak of.
I had her for honors Business, but she probably treats them all the same way.
She has speakers come in from high profile firms such as Vanguard and topics range based on the business book. Second term was more interesting because of the speakers. She had speakers from HR, law, finance, and MIS. That kind of helps you decide where you want to go with your career.
Overall easy class, attendance isn't required because there are probably 300 or so students per class. Enjoyable and makes you want to pay attention instead of goofing off. She's very professional by the way and knows her stuff. She has a CPA and has worked with high profile firms in the business world.
