-Great textbook
Cons: -Doesn't teach-rambles on and on without proper points.
-Is always LATE! (almost missed the class bc of some stupid reason..but came in 14mins and 26 seconds late)
Perry doesn't really teach class. She basically rambles on and on. You think she's saying the same thing every class and she has no way of presenting any of the information. It's a SUPER easy class so it's not hard to get a good grade.
Format:
⢠Advance Directives Project 30%
⢠3 quizzes 30% (10% each)
⢠Final Exam 30%
⢠Class Participation 10%
Almost got a B because I kept missing class because I was loathed to go. I took it as a former Bio major, currently a econ major, interested in doing a minor in HSAD but decided, after this class, not to bother.
Bottom line:
If you want an easy A, take her, if you want to learn something/have a good discussion, don't. Read the book though, that was pretty interesting. Should have gotten the author to be our professor.
little homework
no midterm
Cons: exam is opinion based
need book for quizzes and still slightly difficult
very easy course... prof. perry's lectures are very interesting so you can choose to participate or surf the web all class... one paper due on advance directives which is not difficult unless you leave it til the last minute//have to participate in an in class discussion on A.D. as part of the grade... 3 online quizzes on blackboard that you can take twice (2nd overrides first) but the questions are from the book so i recommend either sharing or renting a book...would definitely suggest this class
