Pros: - she's very nice and will help you when you ask
- she'll let you know if you're doing something wrong
- she's funny
- exams are all open note and she gives our the questions that are going to be on the exam 1 week before
Cons: - hard to understand, speaks softly
- it takes her a very long time to organize
- she'll call you out if you don't look like you're listening
Bijou is a very nice person. She is very smart, but has a hard time conveying concepts. This class was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. All the exams are open note and she gives you ample time to do everything. HW isn't graded, but you get credit for just turning it in. You probably won't learn very much, unless you actually read the book and listen during class. You can super easily get a B in this class, and an A if you work on the study guides before taking the exam.

Pros: None.
Cons: Everything.
Her tests are incoherent. Some bastardized form of the English language. She should be mandated to have the Writing Center check the English on her tests before being allowed to administer them to the students. She will tell her class that she curves grades, but she doesn't. If you get a 89.7 in her class, you will get the B+.

Pros: Nice lady, wastes a lot of class time with attendance and putting people into groups, everything open note.
Cons: Can't teach to save her life. It's sad. It's not even her accent- she just doesn't explain concepts well. And like I said, she wastes a lot of class time.
Gives homework once a week, and graded for completion. Exams are open note and she gives you a review packet, identical to the exam. One project, in a group, and it's the easiest grade.

Pros: Fairly easy class where you can learn a bit. One midterm and final, all open notes/book. She gives you the "general" questions ahead of time and you can mark them in your textbook before going to take the test. Weekly homeworks are helpful as she gives similar questions on the final. One group project which isn't too hard.
Cons: If you have an INTB concentration, I don't recommend you take her as you'll probably learn more with another professor. Classes often get boring and you'll want to fall asleep at times.

The only reason I gave her 4 stars is because Intb 200 with her is the easiest class I've taken at Drexel besides Math 101. Her homework assignments are exactly the same as the examples, where only the number are different. Homework is collected, but not graded for correctness, only for doing it. There's a group project, but that was a complete joke and required very little time to actually do. Her exams are open book and she gives you the exact topic for each and every multiple choice question so that you can prepare beforehand and look up the answers to each question. The open ended questions are similar to homework/appendix problems, so just print out copies of the appendix packets and have them with you for the exam. I went to every single class, but sat there with my laptop playing games on my computer and not listening to a word she said, not that you could really understand too much anyway because of her accent. Overall, I probably learned close to nothing in the class, but it was so dang easy and required no brain power for an easy A+, that I loved that class.

Professor Lester truly cares for her students.
The workload isn't light but the exams are open notes and open book and the exam questions are straight from the textbook and HW questions.
To be honest, it's hard to understand her not because of her accent but because she has trouble clarifying her thoughts, which can make classes extremely boring.
Otherwise, she's a nice person who cares for her students.

this class was really easy but you have to do some work. She takes attendence every class. She gives alot of homework but its a joke and you just have to hand something in to get credit. You have to do a presentation but its a joke. There is an open book mid term and final which are pretty tuff (easy B study and get an A).

Open book midterm/Final. Those are the only 2 tests. There is 1 group project which is very easy. There are weekly homeworks, but they can be handed in by the entire group for credit. Homeworks are only graded on completion. Class is boring, but it's an easy A or at least a B. I'd re-take her again because this class is required for Business Majors.

Her tests are open book/open notes. I don't think she's as boring as everyone says she is. She has a thick accent. She is really smart. Take a look at her resume online. She definitely knows what she is talking about and you'll get a thorough understanding of ECON 202. I would take her again and I've already recommended her to several of my friends.

Horrible class - can't understand or hear her. Didn't learn anything. However, her assignments/homeworks were extremely easy and the tests were open book/notes. Test questions are taken right out of the book. So either buy the book for that reason alone or sit next to someone who has a book. Not worth the money, but worth the A. Attendance taken.

Bijou is a very nice woman and is REALLY intelligent. She really knows the material, and I'm sure people who like econ would benefit from stuff she knows. But for those of us who don't understand no matter what the teacher says, it really sucks because that class is painfully boring. She has patience with us though and never scolded anyone, which was pretty cool because it was such a long class and we weren't exactly polite.

Boring as hell. It seemd easy at the begening, even though exams are open books the average was 26/50. She did curve it big time, but still most got Cs.
Even if you try to pay attention-it's imposible, and don't even think about taking notes as U wont understand what she says. Besides, most of the time she jus reads of the slides. DO NOT TAKE HER

She is really boring, and if you have her and Allie Miller at the same time, let's just say you won't need any sleep at night. She is extremely boring and whatever she teaches makes no sense because she mumbles way to much. She does tend to make jokes sometimes, but they are rarely amusing. Her takes are tricking and you really do need to look at the problems. All the homework she assigns are on reserve, so that way you could double check her answers since the T.A. doesn't.

I have only one term before graduating. Had 4.0 GPA, before I took econ340. No matter what you do, you will get B or C. So don,t sweet, as people that only slept through the class got B's, when thouse who realy participated and studied got C. Grading is random.
And the class definitely borkin, because of the way she is.

She is super super boring and hard to understand in class but is nice if you actually talk to her. The class is decieving, it seems easy as hell at the time with open book tests but it's still pretty hard to get an A (most people get B's). Plus you won't learn much at all, class not worth the easiness.

In the words of Larry David, her lectures are preeeeety preeeeety preeeeety preeeeety pretty boring. If you like 2 hours torture chambers with a 5 minute break in the middle, then take this class. All tests are open book and notes, plus she gives you the questions beforehand. Well how come everyone doesnt get an A then? Because the questions are very subjective and the math part of it is not taught in the book - you must pay attention in class to learn it. Anyway, this is an easy B and if you work at it, should be an A.

Don't take this class if you have ADD. Don't take this class unless you are wearing a hearing aid that you can turn up way loud. Even in the first row, you can't hear her. If your not paying attention, she points you out. Don't take this class if you've ever thought about suicide, because you might commit it trying to sit through her 2 hours lectures.

The first time I set foot in her classroom I was like "are you kidding me?" I could barely understand her and I thought about dropping. But the second class I realized that she knew what she was talking about and I listened harder. She grades very easy and if she likes you (she likes everyone) you'll get a good grade.

This was the easiest Economics class I have ever taken. The homework is right from the lecture and the tests are open book. How can anyone do bad on an open book test. You would have to be an idiot to fail this class. Lester is really nice and is always willing to help. If you have to take Econ 202, take this one.
