Boring
This dude is literally the worst teacher at Drexel. He just reads off his notes each class and asks questions that no one answers. I cant believe this is the type of professor that we are given as OPM majors. Going to class is pointless because staying awake when you are in there is impossible. He straight up sucks.
Gotta do what you gotta do to get a Degree but damn....This dude and his classes make it a pain in the ass.
Someone please fire this clown.

Pros: Possibly not as bad as Neil Desnoyers.
Cons: Hard exams, teaches nobody, curves because thats the only way he'll keep his job, horrendous sweaters & there's no other way you'll attain an OPM degree at Drexel without taking the 3 required classes with him soooooooo god speed! You'll need an umbrella for the shit storm.

Pros: Posted notes can be helpful
Cons: Awful teacher, objectives often unclear. Took away points for students not answering a question that wasn't shown. His methods differ from the book.
Lectures are awful and often unhelpful, he can be rude and insulting to students. Students have walked out because of racial comments. Seems to enjoy making students feel dumb.

Pros: He's a good laugh, that's about it.
Cons: He is a complete moron and teaches you the very basic understanding of a concept and then assigns the hardest problems in the book. Literally the only way I learned this material was by using the back of the book to find the solutions and then teaching myself how to solve the problem backwards in order to solve the problems on my own for exams.
There is an individual and group homework assignment each week, both of which will take a total of 6 or more hours to complete so get ready.
Going to class is completely useless unless you want a good laugh because the things that come out of his mouth are absolutely insane. There is often surprise group work at the end of class which takes about 45 minutes to complete but he only leaves 10 minutes at the end of class, so thats always fun.
There is no leniency in his grading and he deducts points for every little mistake. Extremely difficult to get a 10/10 on any assignment. The majority of the class got below a C on his first midterm.. We'll see how the final goes.

Althuogh there are some negative feedbacks about him, I myself find the class very helpful. Professor Banerjee may not be good in teaching (he talks a lot about politics and how he hates accountants during class), but he is a fair grader!
There are homeworks every week, which cover the textbook problems. It can be long and hard sometime, but you can email him and ask for help! He will be very happy to help you with!
Sometime in class, he teaches things that are outside of textbook, so you'd better listen carefully to the lecture since he does cover these topics in the exam.
Try your best to grade well in the homework, which can save your grade, since his exams may be a little bit difficult and so long to finish on time. However, he grades very fair! What is important to him is your way of thinking and logic. I totally screw up my final exam, but finally got an A for the class.
Overall, you will learn a lot from this course, a little bit challenging yet exciting class!

Gets off topic way too much and cuts into the time actually teaching the subject, which he doesn't do much of. I would highly recommend not taking this class with him and wait for another professor to teach it.

Pros: Actually cares
Can make you laugh if you don’t take him too seriously
Learn a lot
Cons: Hard Exams
Gets off topic
A lot of homework
It seems like I’m going to be the first one to give this guy a good review, but he’s honestly a good teacher. He gets off topic a few times per class going on about politics usually. The most important thing to him is that you learn and he’s willing to do what it takes to help you. Exams are extremely hard and people panic but in the end it gets curved and everyone usually does fine.

Is Drexel serious with this prof? I understand that he wants you to learn how to think.....but how can you think when his tests are impossible and the average is 40%????
Not looking forward to taking him next term....

This guy tried to be funny, but his jokes are so offensive especially to those people whose majors are accounting. he hates accountants more than anything else in this world. and let me tell you what he LOVES mentioning in every class GEORGE W BUSH. His exams are not cumulative (we only covered 3 chapters the entire 10 weeks) but both of them are IMPOSSIBLE but he curved those. I thought I ended up failing the course because I bombed the midterm, and maybe the fianls as well, but I got a C. so that showed his grading scale is weird and unpredictable

I can understand why people think he is offensive, but just chill out and accept his point of view even if you think its stupid, than you will not dislike his class as much. He rambles on, says the most random stuff, but all in all his point in clear. Be able to think for yourself and not live by what professors at this university tell you.

THIS GUY SHOULD BE FIRED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS BELOW:
1. DOESN'T TEACH
2 RAMBLES OFF ABOUT POLITICS 85% OF THE TIME
3 DOESN'T USE CLASS TIME WELL, AND RUNS THE CLASS OVER
4 HIS EXAMS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. GET THIS THE AVERAGE FOR THE MIDTERM IS AROUND HIGH 40S LOW 50S, HE CURVES BUT DOESN'T ACTUALLY KNOW WHERE THOSE CURVE POINTS COMING FROM.
DON'T TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT YOUR TIME WORTH EQUALLY AS YOUR MONEY YOU SPENT ON THE TUITION

On the surface his humor may be seen as offensive to some. However, his knowledge of Operations is immense, and he truely wants all of his students to understand the material not just learn for a test.

Actually, I wanted to take this class with him, but I dropped just after the first class. His jokes are DIRTY, believe me. Maybe he is wise, maybe he knows mych, but his behavior covers all that and there is no evidence of what I supposed. I do not know how he grades, but I would not trust to a person like him to grade my work. To understand banerjee You need 4 or 5 human lives, and even that seems to not be enough...

I do not believe that Dr. Banerjee has very much respect for your average graduate student. More likely than not, you will be disappointed by this professor. If not, congratulations.

Banerjee wastes a lot of time talking about how he hates accountants. OUr class was 3 hours long, but we only focused on material bout a third to a half of the time.

He is very intelligent but some people misinterpret his humor. Although his exams might seem tough he is fair with grading. I learned a lot with him.
