As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
• Proficient in deep water with basic watercraft use (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Able to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam and work with or teach children
• Red Cross or WSI certification is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
