Personal Statement

I came to the U.S in 2007, before that I lived in China my whole life. I have two teenage sons in high school; both are studying Mandarin Chinese every year, and have both have A's in their Mandarin Chinese courses. My sons and I work together, speaking, listening, reading, and writing Mandarin for 45 mins a day. I particularly emphasize that they can speak Chinese with the speed and tone of a native speaker.
