Personal Statement

I have spent my entire life in the field of education. I began working as a substitute teacher in elementary schools. I was sent to classrooms that nobody wanted and often-times there were no lesson plans in place, so I had to create my own. My next position was as a teacher librarian before I was offered a federal fellowship to earn a higher degree. Now I am retired and have been helping college-aged women in courses such as personal growth courses and religious history, which I teach over the phone.
