Personal Statement

Learning and sharing my knowledge are two of my greatest passions. I have been teaching others for over ten years as a teacher's assistant, an educational software developer, and tutor. Information is continuously available to us every day, and I think that a solid understanding of the core topics and knowing and applying those concepts is vital. I have tried many things in life beginning with my degree in applied math and physics in Russia and then pursued my Ph.D. in economics. My extensive professional background has allowed me to figure out just how much information is available to us if we have the tools necessary to sort through all of the data.
