Personal Statement

I have a commitment to supporting student success that began as a teenager and has continued well into my professional life. For ten years now, I have tutored students ranging from kindergarten to college, in both paid and volunteer contexts, particularly in the subjects of reading and writing. I now develop, teach, and grade my own courses at UCLA in the political science department.
