As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with basic safety knowledge
• Ability to work in deep water and use watercraft (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including open water swim and tread water
• Experience with or teaching children preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
