Personal Statement

I'm a Nashville native and violinist of 13 years, give or take. I started at age 10 at Meigs Middle Magnet School, where I developed a strong passion and began to audition for Mid State TN Orchestra after playing a few recital solos and church performances outside my school orchestra. After playing with Mid State for 2 years, I went on to play in several musical theater performances for my high school, Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet, before joining Vanderbilt Curb Orchestra. I played on and off between 2018-2020, before beginning to offer lessons to students learning violin and entering music reading.
