Personal Statement

I have spent the last four years maintaining Honors grades in rigorous college coursework, currently a 4.0 senior student at UCLA in Integrative Biology and Physiology. I have a passion for learning and teaching which has led me to apply for research and PhD programs to pursue learning and teaching at the highest level. Concurrently with private tutoring in high-school and college, I've spent 15+ years playing and coaching sports, as well as 4+ years as a personal trainer and nutritionist. This has allowed me to refine my ability to communicate advanced concepts succinctly to any audience
