Personal Statement

Jack grew up on a wheat and cattle farm in outback Australia, then moved to Sydney where he studied performing arts at the Australian Actor’s Center. Since then he has worked extensively in the American and Australasian film & television industry. In 2008 Jack was nominated for Best New Talent at the Australian Television Awards. Following this, Jack starred as the romantic lead in Australia’s top rating medical drama, “Allsaints”, playing Dr Steve Taylor in over one hundred episodes of prime-time television, currently streaming on Hulu. Following this, Jack starred in several Network dramas, before playing the lead in Australia’s highest rating television drama, “Underbelly: Razor”, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Jack has played the lead role in feature films including “The Pack”, which was released on Netflix in 2016. Following this, he starred opposite Byung Hun Lee in The Warner Bros film, “Single Rider”. He then starred in several American feature films including “The American King” and `Risen`. Most recently Jack played the principal role in the American feature film `Stage 5`, which is due for cinematic release in 2023. Jack is currently based in Los Angeles.
