Personal Statement

I was born in Florence, and later grew up in Milan. I always have been fascinated by literature and the performing arts. I was one of the top students throughout my youth and dedicated years studying Latin, Greek and philosophy, before fully committing to theater and moving to the US in my twenties. I lived for over a decade in New York City and moved to Los Angeles right before the pandemic. Throughout my years in the US, I have supported myself by translating plays and teaching Italian to willing students and very much enjoy letting new people into Italian culture and language.
