Personal Statement

I moved from Hawaii to Paris in 2015 to pursue my dream of working in global marketing. Since then I've hit some amazing milestones on my journey to becoming fluent in French. I've led teams at top marketing agencies like BBDO Paris (Omnicom), founded a French technology startup, earned a place at Station F in Paris - the most competitive startup campus in Europe, bought and renovated my apartment in Paris, and taught marketing strategy to French students at ISEG Paris business university. My highest achievement was becoming a French citizen in 2021.
