- Passionate about subject
- Wants students to come out knowledgable
- Nice and a little giddy
Cons: - Can be difficult to express your opinions in class
- Slightly intimidating at times
- Tough grader
Being one of the first professors I've had in College, I found Professor Chapman to be very profound. Many of my classmates expressed attitudes of resentment towards her because of her tough grading and difficulty in essay prompts, but me being someone who strives for knowledge, I thought she was just trying to distinguish reality from fantasy (in a sense). She made it very clear that her goal was to make us become knowledgable people and for me it worked. If you're the type to not care about the difficulty, but care about your education and want to get a bang for your buck (remember you are paying for college, lol) then I recommend taking Professor Chapman. Go to class, go to office hours, engage in the discussions, and plan out your time well to complete the assignments and you'll get an A. Not easy, but it'll be worth it.
