Personal Statement

I have more than have a decade of experience as a tutor, and I really enjoy helping students learn new things. I believe that learning can be fun, and I focus on that as a tutor. I try to figure out what students like and then draw parallels between the material we are studying and those interests. This help students stay engaged and better understand the concepts. I also focus on helping students develop study skills, showing them how to create their own review materials, schedule study, and create note cards. In addition to this, I've also gained experience tutoring autistic students.
