PLEASE NOTE:

Future Leaders of Tomorrow (FLT) is hiring NYS licensed special education and/or literacy teachers to work as SETSS providers for the 2024-2025 school year. The students attend nonpublic schools and are in grades K-8. Providers are needed for schools in Brooklyn and Manhattan.  Currently, providers are needed for IN-PERSON work ONLY.

The providers will work with students one-on-one. Flexible schedules are available. All providers will be hired as W-2 employees.

The NYCDOE requires SETSS providers to maintain a consistent weekly schedule with their students. Therefore, the organization is seeking providers who will commit to their students for the full school year.

Please note:

* Current NYCDOE employees CANNOT apply for this position due to a conflict of interest with the DOE. Current NYCDOE employees (substitute teachers, classroom teachers, etc.) must wait until they have stopped working with the DOE for a full year (12 months) before they can apply for this position

* New licensed special education/literacy graduates are encouraged to apply

* Retired special education/literacy teachers are encouraged to apply

* FLT offers competitive hourly rates of $27/hr to 32/hr commensurate with experience
