As a Swim Instructor at DL Sunfish, you will lead swimming programs and offer tailored individual and group lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team and contribute to our DL Sunfish in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Evaluate student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, ideally in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management abilities, capable of handling challenging situations calmly
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• Passion for swimming and working with children
