About this Course

Effective online education requires activities and assessments to be designed specifically for online learners in an online environment. This course will cover backward design, assessments, and course interactions such as discussion boards and interactive learning. You will learn how to: Apply best practices to teaching online courses. Identify technologies that can be used in teaching. Plan a learning module using the Backward Design methodology. Create effective learning activities and assessments in order to successfully assess student mastery of the program outcomes and objectives. Define specific, relevant, and assessable learning outcomes as well as key course topics
