Personal Statement

As a reading therapist and bilingual in English and Arabic, I have developed a practical approach to teaching Arabic to children and adults. My method focuses on integrating classic Arabic with everyday language, and I am proficient in all Arabic dialects. I tailor my sessions to each student's specific goals, but generally, my students learn how to read, spell, and speak simultaneously. I particularly enjoy teaching non-Arabic-speaking adults, as it immerses them in both the language and the culture. My background as a reading specialist enables me to help students improve their reading skills quickly.
