Personal Statement

I am a language and math tutor with a bachelor's degree in marketing, which I earned from Pennsylvania State University. I strive to keep my students feeling motivated and energized during our sessions through a variety of engaging activities. I work with the Peace Corps as an IT Specialist and tutor during my days off. As a tutor, my goal is to help each student discover their learning style, academic strengths, learning motivations, and goals. I believe that learning should be explorative and encourage personal growth and development. I work one-on-one with students in Spanish, GRE test prep, writing, and algebra 2, among other subjects.
