Personal Statement

I am an insatiable learner who has degrees in both English Literature and Systems Engineering. I have taught freshman composition at the college level and tutored in Math and reading/ writing for kids from grade 3 and up. I go the extra mile for my students and really enjoy helping discover they can ""turn the corner"" on a difficult problem or essay. Having lived outside the USA for many years, I especially enjoy working with non-native speakers of English and learning their stories. ...
