Personal Statement

I am a Nigeria-born and England-raised math and science tutor who is enrolled at the University of Washington at Madison. I am studying for my master's degree in public health. I believe that teaching is another step of learning, allowing both myself and the student to strengthen our understanding of the material. I love to learn and I use that love to fuel my tutoring sessions. I enjoy working with chemistry, physics, literature, English, and other topics that students may find troubling. As a tutor, I strive to leave my students ready to advance in their studies. I can teach study techniques, prepare others for standardized tests, and build their confidence in their academic skills.
