Marketing specialist and assistant for a physician/educator.
I have a non-insurance based medical specialty practice that needs more exposure. We operate by in person, home visits and Telehealth visits from Southlake Texas. We treat Hashimotos and other thyroid and hormone imbalances with a method that a. Helps people with symptoms but "normal" labs or no diagnosis, b. helps people who are on Levothyroxine with normal labs but still feel exhausted, can't lose weight, cold, constipated etc.

My ideal client is interested in and willing to spend outside their insurance for better health, age 20's -50's with problems that have not responded to "the usual" medical paradigm. Particularly stressed out professionals who may have had infertility, miscarriages, difficulty recovering after pregnancy, or as they move into their 40's, various symptoms that could be related to menopause but no definite diagnosis or effective treatment. I do also treat men who have low energy or stamina, or lack of zest for life.

In a separate business, I sponsor/teach 2 courses for physicians and 2 for patients. This company also handles all the web presence and marketing for the medical practice.

I am seeking an efficient, organized team member to coordinate all of the in-person and local marketing efforts for the 2 businesses. The goal is to increase my exposure to potential clients, either from referrals, or by direct exposure to social, business networking, church, health clubs, or other clubs who have speakers. I expect this job to take 10-20 hours per week at most.

Contact and visit local physician's offices in the metroplex/mid-cities area, arranging opportunities for in person contact between myself and potential referral sources. As this is a new practice, I currently don't have a budget to bring lunch to whole office staffs as a drug rep would do. I just need 5-10 minutes face to face with a doc to touch base and offer what I do. My goal is to do one partial day per week where I go from office to office. My target is obesity clinics, dermatologists, gynecologists, fertility specialists, psychologists, integrative medicine docs, direct care practices. Maybe others if it seems appropriate. The goal is to increase my discovery calls to 25 per month.

Coordinate with my virtual staff to keep records of how often these people are contacted, modify print material when needed and reorder marketing materials when needed.

Find, research, and apply for local speaking opportunities that get me in front of my ideal client demographic. These can be in person or online, like Podcasts/ Instagram Live etc, as long as they serve Texas, and for in person, the Greater Dallas/Fort worth area. My goal is at least one speaking opportunity per month. Libraries, book clubs, community groups, church groups, women's groups, professional networking groups. I can speak on burnout, menopause, longevity, how to get back on track with weight loss, or specifically on thyroid.

Also apply for speaking opportunities at national women's and professional conferences such as "brave enough" and others. I want to do one of these per quarter, for improved name recognition.

Keep a budget, track expenses, stay organized.

Help update and simplify my online marketing materials to make getting on my schedule as easy as possible for the patient. I have a barely used Facebook group, a Facebook business page that have generated no leads for all the work. I am finding more engagement in tiktok and Reels, but I need to know what questions people are asking that I can answer there. I also need someone pursuing Google reviews and keeping track of them from my patients. When you reply to this, use the word boggle in the subject line so I can see that you have completely read this and are a detail oriented person.


Monitor local mom's groups online for people in search of thyroid help so I can offer my help. Save those posts in an organized way so I can answer the comments quickly and easily, perhaps a Google sheets with links.

Meet with me regularly to strategize and coordinate the above.

Other tasks as appropriate.

Job requirements:
Experience in outside sales, marketing, or fundraising.
A positive outlook and upbeat personality.
Ability to hear "no" repeatedly without losing your cool, and asking, can I check back later?
Highly organized and able to stay on task.
Excellent driver with a clean record, a reliable car and insurance.
Professional dress and appearance.
Experience with web searches, email servers, social media posting, and a reliable computer.
