Personal Statement

I have a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in educational, instructional, and curriculum supervision both from Cleveland State University. My teaching certification covers first through eighth grade, and I am endorsed in teaching language arts, math, and social studies at the middle school level. I have taught first grade the most within my educational career, and I am proud to say that my class this past year tested above grade level in reading. When working with students, I first find out their current level and then work toward using their strengths to address their needs.
